On February 13, 2023, in the first year of fully implementing the spirit of the Party’s 20th Congress, the ninth Member congress and the ninth Council of the China Coating Industry Association were successfully held in Beijing in the form of “offline + online”, and a new council of the China Coating Industry Association was elected. Liu Yanpeng, chairman of GTSS, was elected as the chief supervisor of the first Supervisory Board of China Coating Industry Association at the meeting.

At the meeting, first of all, President Sun Lianying of the eighth Council of China Coating Industry Association made a keynote speech on the theme of “Striving to comprehensively promote the green and high-quality development of China’s coating industry”. It said that the seventh and eighth council of the China Coating Industry Association under the correct leadership of the SASAC and the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, created a new situation for the work of the China Coating Industry Association, opened a new chapter in the high-quality development of China’s coating industry, and also made outstanding contributions to promoting the cultivation of “big country brands” in the coating industry.

China Coating Industry Association is the most authoritative national organization in China’s coating industry, and is also a core member of the World Coatings Council. China Coating Industry Association
China Coating Industry Association is the most authoritative national association organization in China’s coating industry, and is also a core member of the World Coating Council. It was established in January 1985 with the approval of the former State Economic and Trade Commission, approved and registered in June 1991 in the Ministry of Civil Affairs, is now affiliated to the SASAC, by the national paint, pigment enterprises and related enterprises and institutions, according to the principle of voluntary equality of the cross-industry, cross-department, with the legal personality of the community organization.
