On September 24-26, 2023, the “2023 Asia-Pacific International Coating Industry Development Conference” jointly organized by China Coating Industry Association and Puyang City People’s Government was held in Puyang City, Henan Province. The conference invited nearly 400 representatives from national ministries, the World Coatings Council, the Asian Coatings Council and relevant national coatings industry organizations, academicians, research institutes, universities and well-known coatings upstream and downstream enterprises at home and abroad to participate in the industry event. At the same time, the ninth Executive Council of China Coating Industry Association and the ninth Council were also held in Puyang, and Liu Yanpeng, chairman of GTSS Group, was invited to attend the meeting as the chief supervisor of the Supervisory Board of China Coating Industry Association.

In the context of economic globalization and Asia-Pacific regional economic integration, the Asia-Pacific region has become the most important growth plate in the development of the world’s coating industry, and its output value accounts for about 45% of the world’s total. As an annual heavyweight industry conference, the Asia-Pacific International Coatings Industry Development Conference has been highly concerned and strongly supported by the World Coatings Council and the coatings associations of the Asia-Pacific countries, which has positive significance for promoting the new development of China’s coatings industry. With the theme of “Cooperation and development, shaping the future together”, the agenda of the conference is composed of two parts: the ninth Council of the China Coating Industry Association, the ninth Executive Council and the Asia-Pacific International Coating Industry Development Conference, based on the development and application of new materials and new technologies in the international coating industry, guiding the coating industry to explore new opportunities for technological innovation in the industry. Promote the recovery of the paint industry in the post-epidemic era, and promote the paint industry to the road of green and sustainable development.
